The trade-in price history of iPhone 6 128GB generally shows a decline. In other words, the used prices of this device are dropping as newer models come to market. It is only very rarely that a second-hand electrical device will increase in price; this usually happens for example if it's a collector's item. Therefore if you are looking to sell your iPhone 6 128GB then it probably makes sense to do it sooner rather than later - before the next price drop.

In September 2014, Apple announced the release of two new iPhones. These were the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus. Both of these phones were offered as successors to the extremely popular iPhone 5s. Compared to the small 4 inch screen featured on the iPhone 5s, the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus were significant improvements, with screen sizes of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches respectively. In addition to the larger screen diameter, the iPhone 6 featured a faster processor, upgraded camera and improved WiFi connectivity, as well as support for mobile payments (Apple Pay).
The iPhone 6 was well received by critics as well as the general public. Many agreed that the improved design, specifications, camera and battery life represented a great improvement over the previous model of iPhone. Within 24 hours of availability, pre-orders of the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus exceeded 4 million. More than 10 million of the devices were sold within the first three days of launching. Over the lifespan of the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus, more than 220 million were sold, making them the best-selling models of iPhone so far. This also makes them one of the most successful smartphones to date.
In addition to being the next generation of iPhone, the iPhone 6 was also released as a rival to other smartphone manufacturers. Previously iPhones had always featured smaller screens than the phones made by Samsung, HTC and other competitors. The iPhone 6 was the first model to feature a large 4.7 inch display, and an even larger 5.5. inch display on the iPhone 6 Plus version. The iPhone 6 was also released as a flagship smartphone to feature near-field communications technology – a feature that allows people to pay for items using their mobile phone. This is something that had been incorporated into many Android phones already, but was not widely used.
The design of the iPhone 6 was largely influenced by that of the iPad Air. It featured a glass front that is curved around the edges of the display, coupled with an aluminium rear facia. The iPhone 6 is also the thinnest model of iPhone to date. Unfortunately, it was not possible to incorporate the antenna for the phone within the aluminium, which is why the iPhone 6 features two plastic strips across the back. The iPhone 6 was released in gold, silver and space grey colours. The design of the iPhone 6 was probably the most positively regarded feature of the phone. In terms of technology, many critics said that although it was a step up from previous models, the iPhone 6 lacked the technology that could justify the hefty price tag. Starting at £539 for the most basic 16GB model, this was considerably more expensive than the HTC One, which featured the exact same screen size but with a much higher resolution and pixel density.
The iPhone 6 is unfortunately notorious for a number of issues, including the chassis being susceptible to bending under pressure, for example if it was carried tightly in someone’s pocket. However Apple did replace phones that were bent, as long as it was determined that the bending was not intentional.
